7 A metal is treated with concentrated nitric acid. Instead of a gas evolved, there is aqueous solution obtained.

   Answer the following questions :

   (a) Give reason for aqueous solution.

   (b) Name two metals which are exception to this reaction.

   (c) Will the reaction be same if dilute acid is used?

                           OR

7 Describe an activity to prove that all hydrogen containing compounds such as alcohols and glucose are not acids.
