SECTION - A

1. Why solar cookers are covered with glass plate and painted black from inside and outside. 

2. Define electric potential at a point. A current of 2A passes through circuit for 1 minute. If the potential difference between 2 terminals is  3V. Calculate work done in transferring charge between two terminals.

8. Derive an expression for equivalent resistance of three resistors connected in parallel.Draw a schematic diagram of circuit consisting of a battery of three cells of 2 V each 2Ω,4Ω & 6Ω resistors to have a current of 2 A from circuit.
 
9. What do you mean by EMI. Write an activity to demonstrate phenomena of EMI.
State the rule used to find direction of induced current. What are the factors on which strength of induced current depends?
