About MP Board (MPBSE) — Madhya Pradesh Board of Secondary Education
The Madhya Pradesh Board of Secondary Education (MPBSE) was established in 1965 as an autonomous body under The Madhya Pradesh Secondary Education Act. Governing all 52 districts of Madhya Pradesh, MPBSE oversees the education of nearly 7–8 million registered students. The board is responsible for deciding administrative, policy-related, and academic direction for higher education in the state. Three major examinations are conducted each year: the Middle School Exam (Class 8), the High School Certificate Examination (Class 10), and the Higher Secondary Certificate Examination (Class 12). To be declared passed, students must score at least 33% in aggregate and in each individual subject. Results are typically announced in May. Students can download their admit cards from the official website at mpbse.nic.in using their roll number and date of birth. MPBSE also allows students to choose an extra language from Urdu, Marathi, Sanskrit, Russian, Kannada, Bengali, Malayalam, Persian, Arabic, French, Tamil, or Oriya in addition to Hindi and English.
