10 A bag contains 1000 pens with different colours. 100 pens are taken out from the bag, out of which 20 were red, 35 were green, 15 were blue and remaining were black in colour. A pen is picked up from these 100 pens. What is the probability that is the pen is
(a) not red
(b) green

11 If the point (x, y) is equidistant from the points (a−b, a+b) and (−a−b, a+b), prove that x−a=0.

12 With the help of distance formula, show that the points A(4, 2), B(7, 5) and C(9, 7) do not form a triangle.A conical hole is drilled in a circular cylinder of height 15 cm and radius 8 cm, which has same height and same base radius. Find the total surface area, after drilling of cone. (Use π=3.14)
 
13 A 15 cm long test tube having diameter of 3.6 cm has water upto a height of 6 cm. 20 spherical drops of oil of radius 9 mm are dropped into it. What length of the test tube remains empty ?
 
14 If the sum of first p terms of an AP is q and the sum of first q terms is p, show that the sum of first (p+q) terms is −(p+q).
 
15 Find the sum of first 25 terms of an AP, in which the third term is 7 and seventh term is two more than  thrice of its third term.
