• Correct Answer (1 Mark): Better employment opportunities in urban areas. • Reasoning: Pull factors draw migrants towards a destination; the concentration of industry, services, and jobs in cities is the primary pull factor identified in India's migration studies. Sample 5-Mark Question (Long Answer): "Sustainable development is essential for the conservation of resources." Explain this statement with reference to the strategies of resource planning in India.
