Map Work (05 Marks)

  • Part I Maps: Mature Harappan sites, Mahajanapada and cities, Distribution of Ashokan inscriptions, Important kingdoms and towns, and Major Buddhist Sites.
  • Part II Maps: Bidar, Golconda, Bijapur, Vijayanagar, Chandragiri, Kanchipuram, Mysore, Thanjavur, Kolar, Tirunelveli and Territories under Babur, Akbar and Aurangzeb.
  • Part III Maps: Territories/cities under British Control in 1857, Main centres of the Revolt of 1857, and Important centres of the National Movement.
