Milk sold in the 3rd month = 28404 Lt.

Q6) The cost of a colour T.V. set is Rs 15400 and the cost of a LCD is Rs 7500 more than the colour T.V. set. What is the cost of the LCD? What is the total cost of both the LCD and the colour T.V. set?
Answer : Cost of colour T.V. = Rs 15400
More cost of LCD = Rs 7500
So, cost of LCD = Rs22900
(Rs 15400+Rs 7500)
Total cost of TV & LCD = Rs 38300
(Rs 15400+Rs 22900)
The cost of LCD is Rs 22900. The total cost
of both the LCD & the TV is Rs 38300.

Q7) A man won a lottery price of Rs 87408. He spent Rs 55672 on a house. How much money was left with him?
Answer : A man won a lottery = Rs 87408
              He spent on a house  =- Rs 55672
                                               ---------------
              Money left with him = Rs 31736
                                               --------------
              Rs 31736 was left with the man.

Q8) There were 5230 cattle in a farm. If the farm owner sold 1247 cattle out of them, then how many cattle were left in the farm?
Answer : Total cattle in the farm = 5230
              Number of cattle sold = -1247

              Cattle left in the farm     3983

              3983 cattle were left in the farm.

Q9) The population of a city is 275800. 125760 are men and 110575 are women. How many children are there?
Answer : Population of a city = 275800
Number of men in the city = 125760
Number of women in the city= 110575
Total men and women in the city = 236335
                                                (125760+110575)

                                                (275800-236335)
There are 39465 children in the city.
