1. The amount of carbon dioxide will increase, it will result increase in temperature.

3. There will be less rainfall and the whole world would turn into desert.

Question. Which are the forests that are economically useful? Explain.
Answer: The coniferous (conical) are the most important and precious forests. Soft wood of Chir, Fir and Spruce trees is used for paper making.
Question. Why the Monsoon forests are called the deciduous forests?
Answer: The monsoon forests are found in the regions where rain is mostly confined to one season. In autumn, when there is no rainfall, these trees shed their leaves. That is why these forests are called ‘deciduous forests’.
Question. Write about the Temperate Grasslands.
Answer: Temperate Grasslands are found in temperate zone. Because of low rainfall, the grass is not very high, but it is soft and densely grown. It is useful for animal grazing. These grasslands are called 'Steppes' in Eurasia, 'Prairies' in North America, 'Pampas' in South America and 'Veld' in South Africa.
