Ans. One who is above 18 years of age, is authorised to cast his/her vote in India.
Q 6. What is the difference between general- election and mid-term election?
Ans. When election is held after 5 years, it is called general-election. But if a government is dissolved before completing its full term, such election is known as mid-term election.
Q 7. What is the difference between two-party system and multi-party system?
Ans. When there are only two political parties in any country, this is called two-party system. England and America have two-party system.
But when there are so many political parties, it is called multi-party system. There is multi-party system in India.
