1. Adjectives of quality indicates the quality or tells what kind of a person or thing we are talking about
Eg. : 1. She is a good girl.
2. Rohan is a co-operative boy.
2. Adjective of quantity refers to quantity of a thing.
Eg.: 1. Give me some water.
2. She wants a little milk.
much, few, many, more are adjective of quantity. It answers the question ‘how much’
Note: Adjectives of quantity are used with uncountable nouns.
3. Adjective of number answers the question ‘how many’
Eg. 1. The building has five storeys.
2. There are two note books in my bag.
Note: They are used with countable nouns.
4. Demonstrative Adjective indicates which person or thing is meant or talked about.
Eg. 1. That house is hers.
2. These drawings are made by him.
5. Interrogative Adjectives are used to ask questions.

2. Which story did you like the best?
6. Possessive Adjective indicates possession.
Eg. 1. My house has five rooms.
2. Her dress is very colourful.
7. Proper Adjective- They describe a thing by referring it to some proper noun.
Eg. 1. The Indian saint spread the message of peace.
2. The British soldiers fought bravely.
Note: A proper adjective must begin with a capital letter.
Proper adjectives are possessive adjectives.
