Altitude- Altitude refers height from the sea level. Temperature is higher near the surface of earth and decreases as we go upward.
Latitude- Latitude refers to distance from the equator. The climate near equator is hot and humid throughout the year. With the increase in latitude, the climate keeps on getting colder.

Answer : Animals with small legs, tails and ears are expected to be found in a cold place. This is because parts of body such as tails, leg and ears lose heat gradually and smaller legs, tails and ears prevent excessive heat loss from the body. This ensures that the organism survives in the cold temperatures.

Answer : Panting is used to cool down the body. It helps in circulating air through the body, which cools down the body temperature.
