10 a)While measuring the length of a paper clip on a scale, the reading at one end is 1 cm and at the other is 4.3 cm. What is the length of the paper clip?

b)The length of a book rack is 2.15 m. Express this length in:

(i) cm  (ii) mm.

11 Give reasons for the following:

a)We cannot drink milk in a tumbler made up of cloth.

b) The lenses of spectacles are always made from plastic or glass.
