3) Past tense

4) Active & Passive voice

5)Reported speech ( Direct & Indirect )

6) Connectors – when, which, as, before, and, till, until, after, because, but, as soon as etc.

7) Jumbled words/sentences

8) Use of ‘has to’, ‘have to’, ‘had to’.

9) Phrasal verbs

10) Tense forms – Past Indefinite, Present perfect

11) Idioms

Section D - Literature (Text books) (15 Marks)

Q. 9 Comprehension passage from prose Lessons (with one mark for vocabulary) 

Q. 10 Short answer type question (five out of seven) 

(3 questions from prose & 2 questions from poetry) (Honey Dew)

Q. 11 Short answer type questions from Supplementary Reader

(Five out of seven – “It so happened”)
