10. अजीर्णे भेषजं वारि जीर्णे वारि बलप्रदम्।।
भोजने चामृतं वारि भेजनान्ते विषापहम् ।।

सर्वस्य लोचनं शास्त्रं यस्य नास्त्यन्ध एव सः ।।

It is (called) the eye (eye-sight) for every one and he is blind only who does not have (knowledge of the) shastras. (The poet here wants to say that without the knowledge of shástras one is just like a blind or a fool.)
