1. Voluntary muscles- They are attached to the skeleton and are under our direct control. These muscles bring about movement like walking, talking, eating etc.

2. Involuntary muscles- These muscles are not under our conscious control. These muscles are present in the organs of digestive system and blood vessels.

3. Cardiac muscles- These muscles are present in our heart and control heart beat. These muscles work on their own and not under our conscious control.

c) Explain soil erosion and its causes thereby describing the importance of soil.(1+1.5+0.5)

Ans .The removal of top fertile layer of soil due to the action of wind, human activities and water is called soil erosion(1). Its causes(1.5) area)

a) Wind- Strong wind carries away the top layer of soil leaving it barren.

b) Water- Rain water loosens the top soil which gets carried away.
