• Highest-Weightage Unit: HTML (web page creation, forms, tables, CSS styling) carries 25 of the 50 theory marks. • Unit-wise Theory Split: Networking (15), HTML (25), Cyber Ethics (10). • Practical Split (50 marks): Lab Test — designing web pages with forms/tables (20), Report File — minimum 10 well-documented HTML pages (10), Project — a functional website with 5+ interlinked pages (10), Viva Voce (10). • Question Mix: MCQs, definitions, short answer, and case-based questions in theory; hands-on HTML/CSS coding in the practical. Sample 1-Mark Question (MCQ): Which HTML tag is used to create a hyperlink to another web page?
Step-wise Marking Scheme:
• Correct Answer (1 Mark): The <a> (anchor) tag, using the href attribute. • Reasoning: The anchor tag with an href attribute defines a hyperlink — for example, <a href="page2.html">Next Page</a> — that lets a user navigate to another page or resource. Sample 4-Mark Question (Applied - HTML): Write the HTML code to create a simple registration form with fields for Name (text box), Gender (radio buttons), and a Submit button.
Marking Allocation:
1. Correct <form> structure with opening and closing tags (1 Mark). 2. Correct text input field for Name with an appropriate label (1 Mark). 3. Correct radio button group for Gender, using the same "name" attribute for both options so they are mutually exclusive (1 Mark). 4.
