1. A nation is a community that believes itself to be based on several shared characteristics such as a common language, geographical location, religion, race, ethnicity, political aspirations etc.

A modern and prosperous India was thus planned and the government after independence stated manufacturing giant steel plants, gigantic dams, power stations and declared the country as a missed economy where both public and private sector worked hand in hand as partners of progress focusing their attention in the industrial and agricultural sector, human resource, finance, transport and communication, social services, education and upliftment of women for all ground growth of the economy.
