SUMMARY OF THE POEM
The poem is about the shed which was a small room away from the main house. It was located at the bottom of the poet’s garden.
It was in the worst condition. Whenever poet passed through it, he felt somebody was staring at him. His brother threatened him by saying that a ghost stayed in the shed who hid himself under the rotten floor boards who might jump and attacked on the poet.
In fact there was no ghost inside the shed. His brother told him lie to keep the shed for his den.
At last the poet overcame his fear by saying that he would enter the shed one day soon.

However , in the last stanza of the poem, there seemed to be a major change in the speaker's attitude. He had understood that all these ghost stories were lie told to him and therefore his resolved to go inside the shed became further firm.
