I. Write True or False correctly -

(vi) Sportsmen exercising to stay fit. [ ]

(viii) Finishing one's work on time. [ ]

(ix) Politicians coming to the parliament only when they feel like it. [ ]

(x) Say mean and hurtful things to anyone. [ ]

II. Read the situation and choose the correct option. - 

(i) Your grandmother wants you to go with her to the market. But you want to play with your friends. What will you do ?

(a) I don't want to miss playing with my friends. I will ask Gramny to go on her own.

(b) It's not often that Gramny asks for my help. I'd give her Company.

(c) I'd offer to take her to the market some other day because I don't want to miss playing with my friends. 

(ii) Your mother asks you to get her a glass of water. What will you do ?

(a) I will tell her that I am busy playing.

(b) I will fetch it for her.

(c) I will ask the maid to give her a glass of water. 

(iii) You go to the park with your friends and everyone decides to have an ice cream. One of your friends doesn't have enough money to bay an ice cream while you have enough money to buy two. What will you do ?

(a) I will have my ice-cream. My friend can have one later

(b) I will buy two ice-creams for myself.

(c) I will buy an ice-cream for my friend too. 

(iv) Your little brother makes a painting and shows it to you proudly. You think it is a little messy.

(a) I will tell him its messy and terrible.

(b) I will tell him its nice, but also tell him how he can make it better.

(c) I will ask him to make another one. That will keep him busy. 

III. Imagine the situations and write how you will respond to them. 

(a) You see your best scribbing on the pages of a library book. Later, the teacher asks the class if they know who has done it. What will you do ?

(b) You have promised to spend the weekend with your grandparents. You know that they are looking forward to it. Your friends suddenly call you for an outing over the week end. What will you do ? 

(c) A team member talks and disturbs others what will you do ?

(d) Some team members jealous when others do well. What will you do ?

(e) Some team members don't do their work on time. What will yo do ?

(f) Your neighbour requests you to water his plants while he is away. You agree. Your cousine comes our for the holidays and you forget to waater the plants for some days. One of the plants wilts and dies. What will you tell your neighbour when he returns. ?

(iii) If you were in Sinta's place, how would you have felt after watching the news ?

(iv) Do you think Pathik Das was a fool ? Why ?

(v) Do you think the soldiers or the villagers could have made the soup alone ? Why ?
