The Suez Canal is a famous attraction in Egypt. This water way connects Mediterranean Sea with Red Sea. The canal is 193.30km long. It is used to transport goods.Transport means to move from one place to another.
 
The Pyramids and Petra
 
For many countries of the world has known about the Seven Wonders of the World.
There are the Seven Wonders of Ancient worlds. Ancient means it has been around for many years, it is very old. From the seven wonders Petra in Jordan was number 2, Petra is located in Jordan. It is sometimes is called “the rose city” or “the lost city”. Thousands of years no one knew it was there. The city was built or carved out of rock in 100BC- 100AD by the Nabataeans, were nomads. Nomads are people who move from place in search of food and water.
In 2007 the world voted for the new Wonders of the World.

Making Choices
You make choices every day, all day long starting from the time you wake up until you go to bed. When you wake up, you have to decide to get out of bed. Many times you lay in bed after your mom or dad wakes you up and you do not want to get up. Finally you decide ok, I have to get ready for school. Then maybe if you do not wear a uniform to school, you have to decide what to wear.

“Should I wear the red shirt or the blue one?” This is a choice.
A choice is when you choice between two or more options.
You go to the store to get something to drink because you are thirsty.
The refrigerator is full of all kinds of beverages. A beverage is something to drink. You have to decide which beverage you want, the cola, juice or chocolate milk. This is a choice. Once you have made your choice, this is called decision making. You have made a decision.
 
Eating Healthy
 
- It is important to stay healthy. You can do this by exercising and eating healthy food.
- You exercise every day, but probably never thought about it as an exercise. At school, you play with your friends running around playing tag or playing with a ball. Running is an exercise.
- If your school or house has stairs that you climb, this is an exercise.
- To climb means to go up or down stirs or a hill. Just walking to your friend „s house you will be exercising.
- Your body needs food from each of the five food groups. You should eat three “balanced meals” a day they are breakfast, lunch and dinner. When you eat something from each group this is called “eating a balanced meal”. It is very important to eat “a balanced meal” because we get different vitamins minerals from different foods.
- There are 5 main food groups: Dairy, meats, fruits, vegetables, and grains.

Example: Beef, lamb, chicken, turkey, and fish

Fruits
Example: Oranges, apple, bananas, grapes peaches, strawberries

Vegetables
Example: Beans, carrots, corn, cucumbers, and green peppers

Dairies
Example: Milk, cheese, yogurt, and labaneh

Grains
Example: Bread, cereals, and oats

1, Eggs with cheese, lamb, potatoes, toast and a glass of orange Juice
2, Chicken, carrots, fruit salad, a glass of milk and piece of bread.
 
→ It is said that some foods are special.
 
→ Apples help keep the doctor a way.

→ Orange / orange juices are good to eat when you‟re sick because they have lots of vitamin C.
 
→ Bananas help you sleep because they have potassium.
 
→ Spinach makes you strong because it has lots of iron.
 
→ Breakfast is the meal we eat in the morning. It is the most important meal of the day.
 
→ Breakfast is “brain food”. When we eat breakfast, it gives us energy which we need to help us think and learn when we are at school. It is important that you get up early enough in the morning to eat breakfast every day.
 
→ Lunch is the meal we eat in the middle of the day. Usually 11or 12 o‟clock in the afternoon. Lunch does not have to be a big meal but you should have something from each food group.
 
→ Dinner is the biggest meal of the day. It is a very important meal. This is the meal where the whole family sits together and eats.
 
→ Then in the evening they eat a snack. A snack is something small that we eat in between meals. If you are going to eat a snack, it should be a healthy one. Great healthy snacks come from fruits and vegetables such as carrots, cucumber, green peppers, oranges or grapples.
 
→ Another option for a healthy snack may be dairy and grain snack, cheese and crackers or cheese and bread.
