B). Writing Section : 18 Marks 
1. Discourse Writing(Prabhashanam) (topics related to thelessons from prescribed text book) (Out of Three topics, one should be attempted) 7 marks
2. Letter writing (applications, official letters to authorities) 7 Marks
3. Reporting of simple events / incidents for Newspaper 4 Marks
 
C). Grammar Section : 12 Marks
