The Story of a Cloud 

Summary: In this story the writer tells us about a little cloud who was afraid of raining. He wanted to stay as a cloud in a sky.Day by day the sun became hotter but the cloud kept saying, “I won’t rain,I won’t rain.” Then on Friday the cloud became full of water and after sometime it drifted to a small valley.Where it sank into the earth. Animals like peacock, rabbit, deer came to drink water from the lake of the grey cloud. The little grey cloud became very happy.

Summary: 

In this chapter, writer tells about Meena and her first friend at school. Meena was a squirrel. She lived in Central Park in Delhi. She was going to a new school and very excited about her school and friends. When she went to school, she met with her new teacher Mr Hari, the hare. Mr Hari introduced her to the students Pinky, Raju, and Toto. Pinky was a bunny, Toto was a tortoise, and Raju was a fox. In lunch, Pinky and Toto played together but Raju was alone. Therefore, Meena went to him and said, “Hello, will you be my friend?” Raju said, “Yes, I will be your friend”. In this way, Meena got a new friend.
