(a) Natural Resources: These resources are found on the earth and are used without much alterations. In fact these are free gifts of nature. For example Fruits, sunlight, water etc.
 
(b) Human made Resources: These are created by human beings from the materials available in the environment For example machines, tools, buildings etc.
 
(c) Human Resources: Human beings are the most important resources of the world. They can discover, exploit, develop and convert the available resources into useful products. If a country wants to progress, it should develop human resources.
 
2. Conservation: Using natural resources carefully and giving time to get renewed is called conservation. Conservation is very necessary as resources are limited and population is quite high. The increase in population and rising demand for various goods and
minerals has caused damage to many valuable resources.
