4.Move the mouse pointer over the slide you want to move.
5.Hold down the mouse button and drag the mouse pointer over the slide.
HOW TO COPY SLIDES
1.Select the slide you want to copy.
2.Hold down the ctrl key while you drag the slide.
HOW TO CREATE YOUR OWN DESIGN TEMPLATE?
Sometimes, none of the exiting design templates offers exactly what you are looking for. In this case, you have to either modify an existing template or create your own.
To save a customized design template, follow the given steps:
1.Make your own design template by changing the background color, add a logo, a picture, change the slide color, whatever you want to add in your template.
2.Click the File tab.
3.Click ‘Save As’ option. The Save As dialog box opens.
4.In the ‘Save As’ Type box, click the drop down arrow, choose power point Template.These templates will get automatically stored in Templates group.
5.Type the name of your design template in the file name box.
6.Click Save button. The saved design template is available in my templates option in
New presentation pane (after we press ‘New’)
HOW TO USE SAVED DESIGN TEMPLATE
To use saved design template, follow the given steps
1.Click the ‘File’ tab.
2.Click ‘New’ option. The New presentation pane opens.
3.Click ‘My templates’ in the middle pane
4.A new presentation dialog box opens which contains all the saved designed template. Select and click the design template you want to use.
5.Click ‘OK’ button. The selected design template will get opened on the screen.
HOW TO APPLY THEME TO THE SLIDE.
1.Click the “Design” tab.
2.Click the more button in the themes group.
3.Select any theme and see the effect on the slide in background.
Right click on the theme and apply to all option.
HOW TO APPLY BACKGROUND STYLES TO A SLIDE
To apply background to the slides, follow the given steps
1.Click the design tab on the ribbon.
2.Click background styles from background group.
3.Select and click any style want to apply to your slides.
HOW TO APPLY A GRADIENT BACKGROUND.
To apply the gradient background style, follow the given steps
1.Right click on the empty part of any slide. You will see “Format background” as one option.
2.Select Gradient fill in the format background dialog box.
3.Choose the preset color by clicking its dropdown arrow.
4.Choose the type, direction, color, and gradient stop.
5.Click Apply to all for all slides in the presentation.
6. Click close to view your presentation slides.
