ENGLISH
Q.1. You must have come across different newspapers till date. Take ideas from those newspapers and prepare your own school newspaper of minimum 8-10 pages. Design a ‘Newspaper Jacket’ to keep your newspaper in it. Give a creative and distinct name to your newspaper. You can use coloured sheets and decorative material to embellish it.
All the written work must be done in the form of cut-outs of different shapes using light coloured pastel sheets and pasting them in the newspaper in a collage form.
The newspaper must include the following:-
(i) ITS FUN TO WRITE
Write three articles on the following topics:-
(a) Competitions bring out the best and the worst in people
(b) Library- A Treasure of Knowledge

(iii) EXPRESS YOUR THOUGHTS THROUGH YOUR SELF-COMPOSED POEMS
Compose two poems on the topics given as per your houses:-

You might visit a tourist place, a temple, a village, a historical monument, a zoo, a national park or any other place during your vacation. Observe the place keenly keeping in view the area, the land, the vegetation, the climate, birds, buildings and so on. Take photographs, gather information as much as you can and describe the place in an interesting manner. This description will help you retain the fond memories of your visit. Your description should include the above mentioned points along with the photographs clicked. During the visit.
(v) LETS KNOW MORE ABOUT PEOPLE- INTERVIEWING PEOPLE AROUND
Take an interview of any of these people as per your house and write down the questions asked in the interview along with the answers.

(vii) SPELL-O-BEE It can be quite difficult to learn spellings. Sometimes we use tricks to remember how to spell certain words. The trick is to make up a little rhyme using the letters of the words that we are trying to learn For
Eg.
BECAUSE Big Elephants Can Always UNDERSTAND SMALL ELEPHANTS
Think of 15words that you find hard to spell and make up a rhyme to help you remember the spellings. It doesn't matter how silly the rhyme is, as long as you remember it. Write the rhymes for 15 words, illustrating them with pictures.
