Q1. Read any three stories from the book “A Treasure Box”. Prepare a word bank of the new words you

have read in these stories. Write their meanings and arrange then in alphabetical order.

Q2. Make a project entitled “My Favorite Hill Station” . Prepare a brochure by collecting the information

and pictures related to it. Also add details about transport expenses, hotels, scenic sport, boarding point

etc. Make it attractive by using colours, sparkles and other material.

Q3. Watch any 5 English movies. Write their stories in their own words.

( You can see English movies like “Anaconda”, “Harry potter” series)

Q.4) Create a poster on each of the following:-

(a) Reading is fun or

(b) Environmental awareness

MATHEMATICS

Do Q.1 on A-4 sheet. And Q. 2,3,4 in a separate note book.

Q.1) Make 2 magic squares of 3 X 3. Also write the general method for solving them.

Q.2) Do formative assessment & MCQs given at the end of the chapters ‘Whole Numbers’ & Playing with

Numbers.

Q.3) Make any 10 questions of BODMAS and solve them.

Q.4) Go to the near by bank and get one cash withdrawal and one cash deposit slip fill it properly and paste

in the note book.

Q.5) Paste and fill 10 Sudoku games from the newspaper on A-4 sheets.

SOCIAL SCIENCE

Q.1) Make an eye catching poster with slogan showing the negative effect of the growing population.

Q.2) Make a clay model of a pyramid or pot with a design from the Paleolithic age.

Q.3) Collect pictures of the monuments built during the medieval period and make a collage.

Q.4) Make a chart to explain the impact of global warming. Find ways and means to prevent such change.
