In higher altitudes, the wind and moisture while in lower altitude the lack of wind .while in latitude the equator is hotter while the tropic of cancer and tropic of Capricorn is is bit colder while polar regions are much colder and that's how the vegetation is different because the plants that need cold temperatures will grow in polar regions while plants like cactus will grow in equator because that's their habitat and there they can grow easily than other climate and altitude.
