Moving forward in the article, let us focus on the most important aspect, which is the format in which the NSO Class 2 is organised. To crack a competitive examination, it is most important for the students to understand the exam pattern before going for the final attempt.

The National Science Olympiad Class 2 question paper is objective in nature and consists of 35 MCQs (Multiple Choice Questions) to be completed in a duration of 60 minutes. The Olympiad exam paper of 35 questions is divided into 3 sections wherein, the section 1 & 3 contains 5 questions each and the section 2 contains the remaining 25 questions.

The details of the 3 Sections of NSO Class 2 Examination is as follows: -  

1. Section 1: Logical Reasoning
2. Section 2: Science
3. Section 3: Achievers Section

Normally, the NSO Exam is conducted in 2 levels, but for Class 2 the participating students are evaluated on the basis of their performance in Level 1 only and they are not required to appear for the Level 2 NSO Examination.

The Syllabus of NSO Class 2 is in accordance with the curriculum prescribed by CBSE, ICSE/ISC and other state boards. Let us go through the section-wise outline of the same: -

The NSO Class 2 Result is declared in both offline and online modes. The result of the Science Olympiad is send to the registered schools and the students can also check their results on the official website of the foundation. The participating students in NSO Class 2 are issued SPR, that is, the Student Performance Report which gives a detailed analysis of the student’s performance in the Olympiad.
