CBSE CTET Test Dates Notification Upcoming

The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) Central Teachers Eligibility Test 2017 dates will be announced by the CBSE Board, post the release of the CBSE UGC NET notification 2017. The CBSE Board had released a short statement earlier this month giving out the registration and examination dates for the CBSC UGC NET Exam 2017.

As per this release, it is estimated that the CBSE will open the registration for the CTET by either end of July, or early August. No official appraisal on the CBSE CTET online application form release date have been provided by the CBSE Board as of yet.

All candidates looking for teaching roles in the government are required to qualify for the CTET Exam 2017, for their applications to be eligible for the recruitment process. Candidates should also ideally match any one of the following criteria:

1. Applicants should have scored a minimum of 50% marks in Senior Secondary, or its equivalent test, and should have cleared, or be appearing for the final examination of Bachelor of Elementary Education, which is a four year course
2. Applicants should have scored a minimum of 50% marks in Senior Secondary, or its equivalent test, and should have cleared, or be appearing for the final examination of Diploma in Elementary Education, which is a two year course
3. Applicants should have scored a minimum of 45% marks in Senior Secondary, or its equivalent test, and should have cleared, or be appearing for the final examination of Diploma in Elementary Education, which is a two year course, according to NCTE regulations 2002
4. Applicants should have scored a minimum of 50% marks in Senior Secondary, or its equivalent test, and should have cleared, or be appearing for the final examination of Diploma in Education, which is a two year course
5. Applicants should have scored a Bachelor’s degree, and should have cleared, or be appearing for the final examination of Diploma in Elementary Education, which is a two year course
