Legal Studies - Modified minimum qualifications for teachers

Introduction of ‘Legal Studies’ as a new elective for classes XI-XII from session 2013-14.

Modified minimum qualifications for teachers are as follows: 

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS FOR TEACHERS

Legal Studies

a) A regular Bachelor Degree in Law or Master’s Degree in Political Science/ Public Administration/ International Relations or its equivalent.

b) Bachelor of Education (B.Ed.) or its equivalent.

OR

c) A regular Master’s Degree in Law (LLM) or its equivalent.
