Evaluation and verification procedure

With only a few days left for the final examination, students are more focusing on scoring good marks from the first day onwards. As you have checked many tips and tricks regarding the examination, we hope you will do your best at exams. Before attend an exam, it would be great, if you were perfectly aware of what the Central Board Secondary Education states about the exam procedure as well as evaluation procedure. This year, CBSE has imposed strict rules for verification and evaluation procedure based on the marking scheme. Experienced professionals could evaluate the answer sheet at more than 2000 evaluation center.

• CBSE board has given the student the ability to recheck the answer script and manually the posted the mark in front of title page. While evaluating answer scripts there probably the chance of error during posting mark in front sheet. In order to correct such mistakes, the board has announced the reevaluation process for the welfare of the students.
• This year, students who have applied for reevaluation is quite high compared to the past years. It has been reported that only 2.47% answer script out of total answer script has sent for reevaluation. The percentage of answer script sent for reevaluation is exactly 2.31%,2.09% and 2.53% in 2014, 2015 and 2016 respectively
•  As soon as the answer script had completed reevaluation process, the score is available in the computer system for the students. Keep in mind that there is no change in answer script after revaluation. All the revaluation process strictly abides by the rules that are imposed by the government body and CBSE Examination Committee.
• According to the rules, there are no changes in the answer script for 99.9% case. And the option of photocopies and verification mark has already available to the student. As being the respective board, CBSE should impose more rules to reduce the mistakes that occurred during mark evaluation.
