Exam Pattern & Success Strategy

For this year the assessment process is going to be Competency-Based. The exams will test how well the students will understand a concept.

Skill Projects: 10-bagless days for vocational projects (Materials, Machines, and Life Forms).

Holistic Report Cards: Your grades will include self-assessment and peer-assessment alongside teacher marks.

Exam & Evaluation Pattern

The evaluation will strictly follow a Continuous and Comprehensive Evaluation (CCE) system-

a) Internal Assessment (20%): This includes notebook neatness, subject enrichment activities (like projects or map work), and periodic class tests.

b) Term Exams (80%): Usually divided into Term I (Half-Yearly) and Term II (Annual).

c) Non-Repetition Policy: Generally, topics covered in Term I are not repeated in the Term II annual exam. Students can focus on the second half of the year.
