1. Construct an Isosceles triangle ABC having perimeter EF = 85 mm and altitude AD = 30mm. 

2. Draw a hexagon and a pentagon upon a common side of 30 mm. 

3. Construct a pair of indirect tangent to two circles of diameter 50 mm and 40 mm which are at a distance of 55 mm.

4. Inscribe 5 equal semicircles in a hexagon of side 30 mm each two sides of the pentagon. 

5. Draw a conical helix of 72 mm pitch for one revolution around a right circular cone of diameter 60 mm and height 72 mm. Also show plan and development of helix.

6. Draw the orthographic projection of the following points and mention the quadrant in which the point liesa) Point J is both in VP and HP.
b) Point H 30 mm behind VP and 40 mm below HP.
c) Point C is 25mm above HP and 40 mm behind VP.
d) Point B is in HP and 25 mm in front of VP

7. A rectangular lamina of sides 60x30 mm is inclined in such a way that it appears as a square in the top view. It is resting on HP on one of the edges and this edge is inclined at 30⁰ to VP. Draw the projection of the lamina and find its inclination with HP.

8. A right regular pentagonal pyramid side of base 25 mm and height 50 mm lies on one of its triangular faces on HP and the edge of the base contained by the triangular face makes an angle of 30 ⁰ to VP. Draw its orthographic projection.

9. A hollow pentagonal prism, outside base edge 35 mm and height 65 mm long, rets on its base on the ground (HP). One of the vertical faces is inclined at 45⁰ to the VP.A section plane inclined at 30⁰ to the HP and perpendicular to VP passes through the axis 20 mm from the top end cuts the hollow prism. Draw the following views

a.Front view
b. Sectional top view
c. Sectional left side view
d. True shape of the section
