1. Construct an isosceles triangle ABC having its perimeter EF = 80 mm and altitude AD= 30 mm.

2. Inscribe 5 equal semicircles in a pentagon of side 40 mm,each semicircle touching two sides of the pentagon.

3. Draw an Involute to a line AB of length I 0 mm, when

i. The string unwi nds 4 turns in clockwise direction from end A.

ii. The string unwinds 5 turns in the anticlockwise direction from A.

4. Draw the orthographic projection of the following points.

iii. Point b in HP and 30 mm in front of it

iv. Point j both in VP and HP

v. Point k in HP and 40 mm behind VP

vi. Point c 25mm above HP and 40mm behind VP.

5. An isosceles triangular plate of 50 mm base side and 75 mm altitude appears as an equilateral triangle of 50 mm side in the top view . Draw the projections of the plate if its 50 mm long edge is on HP and inclined at 450to VP.

6. A right regular tetrahedron, base edge 30 mm , is resting on ground (HP) on one of its corners of the base such that the slan t edge containing that corner is inclined at 60°to the HP and the base edge opposite to that corner is inclined at 45° to the VP. Draw the projections.
