RULES:
 
1. Identify the subject pronoun.ie. je/tu/il/elle/nous/vous/ils/elles
 
2. Look at the gender and number of the noun after the blank, place the possessive adjective corresponding to the subject pronoun. Je prends mon cahier.
 
3. If the sentence does not have a subject pronoun, then look at the gender and number of the noun after the blank, place the possessive adjective corresponding to the subject pronoun. Ma /ta/sa/notre/votre/leur voiture est blanche.
 
4. If the noun after the blank begins with a vowel and is feminine, then we cannot use ma,ta,sa instead use mon,ton,son. Je parle avec mon amie.
 
5. The possessive adjective agrees with the object possessed.eg his/her mother sa mère.

•« Cette » is placed before a feminine singular noun even for vowel

• Repeat the demonstrative adjective before each noun.
