MAT is a mental ability test given to the candidates to judge their cognitive capacity, ability to think, ability to judge, assess or classify, ability to imagine in space, spatial awareness, etc. Of example, a number of questions are used: analogies, classification series perception of patterns, secret figures, coding-decoding, block assembly, problem-solving, etc.

The main Goal of administering the NTSE exam is to assess and judge the capacity of perception, bias, logic, perception ability, spatial awareness and environment orientation of participants. Students were asked questions regarding grouping, coding-decoding, sequence, pattern recognition, and block assembly, secret figures, analogies and problem solving to test their mental ability. A selection of 90 multiple choice questions are included in the questionnaire. Mental Skill Assessment is an appropriate way to use rationalized questions to measure the skill of a pupil.

The mental ability testing also called questions of mental aptitude, measure applications, and skills for logic perception. This is done by analyzing how the evaluation question addresses an applicant. Mental ability assessment has molded itself into a series of questions which continue to grow in variety.
