मुझे एक बीज मिला।
मैंने उसको गमले में डाला।
मैंने उसे पानी दिया और बहुत सारी धूप

किसी पुराने बर्तन या गमले में काले चनों को बोएँ कुछ ही दिनों बाद चनों से हरे-भरे, छोटे-छोटे डंडल और पत्ते उगने लगेंगे। देखें, उन्हें उगने में कितना समय लगता है और कितना पानी और धूप।

बीज से एक पूरा पौधा बनता है। छोटे से बीज में पहले से ही सभी जानकारी होती है कि वह क्या बनेगा। आप घर पर एक कटोरी में रुई डालकर उसमें बीज रखिए और रोज़ पानी दीजिए। कुछ दिनों में आप देखेंगे कि सफेद जड़ें निकलने लगी हैं और फिर छोटे पत्ते भी आने लगते हैं।
