In language instruction, spelling (jodni) holds great significance. Even minor changes in spelling can completely alter the meaning of a word.

For example, "દિન" (din) means 'day'. However, if we spell this word as "દીન" (din), its meaning changes to 'poor'.

Another example: "ઉપહાર" (uphaar) means 'gift'. But if this word is written as "ઉપાહાર" (upaahaar), its meaning becomes 'breakfast' or 'snack'.
