What to do if you fail in the class 12th compartment exam

The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) has declared the results of the class 12 compartment examination held on July 2.

By the way, students who have passed the exams can breathe in relief, but those students who have not yet passed, they have to focus on improving their chances in the next attempt.

Besides this, Students may download CBSE sample papers for class 12 and refer them while preparing for the CBSE class 12 board exam.

Here are the some tips which helps the students to clear the exam who failed in the compartment exam:

1.       One must focus on preparing for next compartment exam attempt

Students who fail in one subject out of the five subjects are given the following opportunities of appearing for the compartment examination i.e. July-August, March-April, and July-August in that particular subject.

Students who have not been able to pass the compartment examination should focus on preparing them properly. Students who have not been able to clear the compartment examination, should concentration on preparing them properly of their next effort rather than feeling depressed.

2.       Identify flaws in preparation, create a new study plan

A soon as possible, students have to start preparing for their next attempt. They can start their preparation by analysis the previous strategy to find the flaws. Soon, they have to identify the loopholes in the previous preparation strategy and have to create a new study plan. So that they won’t repeat their mistakes due to they might have failed in the CBSE Board exam earlier.

Therefore, there is a need to create a new study plan with new strategies to clear the exam.

3.       Focus on NCERT textbooks, make sure there’s enough time for revision

Generally, students waste their time in selecting the right study material out of the various options available in the market. Most of the times, it is seen that reference books are full of concise notes, without providing any basic and fundamental knowledge which can distract the students from their target and mystify them. That is why it is better to stick to NCERT books and practice NCERT Exemplar problems to perform outstandingly in the board exams.

Apart from the studying, revision is also very important in preparation for the CBSE Board exam. Whatever they learn on a regular basis, they have to do practice and revision of them. By writing the important points of all the topics they can do quick revision easily.

4.     Solve previous papers, take mock tests; analyze performance regularly

CBSE Sample papers, mock tests are considered as the best option to understand the question pattern thoroughly. In order to boost their confidence level and their chances of passing the compartment exam, they have to regularly analyze the performance and identify the flaws by solving the chapter-wise mock test and previous year sample papers. On the basis of their performance, they can also do changes in their preparation strategy.

 

5.       For students who failed in all compartment exam chances

Students who fail in the three options of the compartment examination in this subject, cannot clarify and they will have to pass in the subsequent annual class-12 board examinations for all subjects.

Those students need more hard work and a solid preparation strategy that suits their study requirements, strengths, weaknesses and pace to pass all the subjects.
