CBSE Counseling for Board exam 2020 starts today

The 23rd psychological Counseling starts 1st February (today) for The Class10 and Class12 CBSE students and their parents, by the Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE). 
 
This Counseling service is cost-free and this counseling service will be available every day from 8 a.m. to 10 p.m. from February 1 to March 30. To make the facility easier, CBSE has released a toll-free number. The toll-free number is 1800 11 8004.
 
A total of 95 professional counselors and supervisors will provide students with counseling to help them deal with anxiety, exam stress, and other problems. The Central Board of Secondary education (CBSE) will provide free psychological guidance for students studying in classes 10th and 12th this year. 
 
CBSE consultants will respond to student’s queries via weekly question-answer columns to be published in major newspapers during February. The counseling service’s 23rd edition will also use social media platforms to proactively connect with the students. 
 
CBSE will also use famous social media platforms such as Facebook, YouTube, and Instagram to promote important and healthy activities for the board exam, helpful ideas, Tips, FAQs on these platforms will be also shared by the Counselors for the advantage of the students. 
 
In India and nine other countries such as the USA, Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, Kuwait, Japan, UAE, Nepal, Singapore, Qatar, Sultanate of Oman, the participating Principals / Counselors will be available.
 
 
CBSE has also provided the same toll-free number for an IVRS facility to access information at anytime, anywhere and multiple times a day. CBSE first launched IVRS last year and seeing the benefits, this facility was enhanced this year with improved FAQs and Board knowledge.
 
In fact, under' Knowing students problem Better,' the CBSE released an audiovisual presentation on its website. On the official website of cbse.nic.in, anyone can access the service. Students will watch videos about different topics such as aggression, Depression, Internet Addiction Disorder, Examination Anxiety, Substance Use Disorder, Personal Learning Disability, and Life Skills under the counseling category. Students will access the content on YouTube and Facebook too.
 
This program will be very beneficial for the students of class 10th and 12th. And it will be very beneficial and helpful for the board examination. 
 
The counseling starts today i.e. 1st February 2020 and continues till 30 March 2020. The counseling will be available free of charge through IVRS and the toll-free telephone number 1800 11 8004 between 8 am to 10 pm. 
 
Students/parents/stakeholders are able to listen to re-recorded useful information on overcoming board exams stress and including all-important test and study suggestions.
 
In addition to IVRS, 95 Concepts and certified counselors from CBSE Affiliated schools outside India will provide live tele-counselling on the same toll-free number.
