Meaning:

An opposite word (विलोम शब्द) is when a word in a language has a meaning that is exactly the reverse of another word in the same language. For example, 'hot' is the opposite of 'cold'.

Rules for Forming Opposites (विलोम-शब्द बनाने के कुछ नियम)

Rule 1

Some words become opposites by adding 'dis-' at the beginning.

Rule 2

Some words become opposites by adding 'mis-' at the beginning.
