II. Answer the following questions in 30-40 words. 

a) Albert was a person of firm convictions. Even at the cost of punishment he was not willing to compromise on his views. He was frank and blunt in his speech and he had a good sense of arguing his point of view and this made others dislike him.

b) Yuri calls him the world’s worst liar as Albert was so honest and straightforward that he could not tell lies successfully. His voice and manner betrayed him when he lied.

c) Frank says that it is the bad luck of Taplow to come for extra work on the last day of school and that also in such weather. But there is comfort for him that being a good boy he will get his remove.

d) Albert was miserable when he went to his lodging as his room was in an area that was ugly. Albert had no comfort there. The atmosphere was bad as his landlady kept beating her children. He was troubled by the atmosphere of slum violence.
