• Geometrical meaning of zero of polynomial –
• Zero of linear polynomial is x-coordinate of the point of intersection of straight line graph of linear polynomial with the x-axis.
• Zeroes of Quadratic polynomial are the x-coordinates of the points of intersection of graph with the x-axis. The graph of any Quadratic polynomial is in the shape of parabola. Quadratic polynomial can have at most two zeros.
• Zeroes of Cubic polynomial are the x-coordinates of the points of intersection of graph with the x-axis. Cubic polynomials can have at most three zeroes.
• Zeroes of any polynomial of degree n, are the x-coordinates of the points of intersection of graph of polynomial with the x-axis. The zeroes of polynomial of
degree ‘n ‘are at most ‘n’.
