• In the online application form the candidate will have to state the type of disability and the percentage of disability.
• Scribe/ Reader will be provided on the request of the candidate only if the candidate has 40% or more disability,
• If the candidate wants his or her own scribe/reader then a written request must be submitted to the request to the centre superintendent for the same atleast by January of the year in which the JEE (Main) examinations have to be conducted to get the desired scribe/reader
• The candidate will be allowed to meet the scribe/ reader one day prior to the examination to ensure that the scribe/ reader is suitable to the candidate
• Extra time of one hour will also be allowed to the candidates with 40% or more disability regardless of the fact that the candidate(s) is/are availing the service of scribe/reader.
