Summary of the Poem

Ancient Chittor is seen as a queen wearing a crown. Rajput soldiers gave up their lives to protect Chittor's honour. Because of their sacrifice, they earned a special place in heaven. They did not care about giving their valuable blood. They fought until their last breath to save Chittor from its enemies. The poet says that it feels as if the paths to this Rajput homeland, Chittor, are stained red with their blood, showing their bravery.
