Explain why coordination is considered

Coordination is considered the essence of management because it integrates all functions of management. For example, the production department needs to coordinate with the marketing department to ensure products are manufactured as per market demand. Similarly, the finance department coordinates with all other departments to ensure funds are available when needed. Without coordination, each department would work in isolation and the overall organisational goals would not be achieved.
