23. Write Your Own Poem

Write a set of rhyming words. Make sentences or meaningful phrases in which the rhyming words appear at the end. Arrange the sentences or phrases in the form of a poem.

Poetry is fun! You can write poems about anything you like. For example, write a poem about your mother, your school, or your pet dog.

Remember: A poem needs rhyming words. Words that sound the same at the end are rhyming words. Like "night" and "light" or "day" and "way".
