CUET Physical Education

The CUET Physical Education/NCC/Yoga (Subject Code: 321) exam is a very important subject for students planning to do a Bachelor’s in Physical Education (B.P.Ed), Sports Science, or Yoga. For this year exam, the NTA has designed the syllabus into nine detailed units based on the NCERT Class 12 syllabus. Unlike other subjects, this subject requires detailed understanding of scientific knowledge (Anatomy & Biomechanics), sociological understanding, and practical sports awareness. High-weightage units for this year exams include Sociological Aspects of Physical Education and Psychology & Sports. They together often account for almost 40% of the question paper. In the this year exams cycle, the NTA has placed a special emphasis on Yoga and Lifestyle, including the benefits of specific Asanas for common lifestyle diseases like Obesity, Diabetes, and Asthma. You will also see technical questions in Biomechanics, such as the application of Newton’s Laws in sports and types of levers (1st, 2nd, and 3rd class) in human movement. To get more marks in the +5 / -1 marking scheme, you must be able to solve 40 out of 50 MCQs in 60 minutes.
