संस्कृतज्ञाः भवति

हिन्दी अनुवाद - संस्कृत के ज्ञाता ज्योतिषी रूप से और चिकित्सक रूप से संसार के उपकार में लगे होते हैं। कर्मकाण्ड करने वाला और यज्ञ करने वाले हवि रूप से और औषधि वनस्पतियाँ रूप से परिवर्तन करके बादलों की रचना में साधक होते हैं। मेघों से वर्षा होती है। वर्षा से अन्न आदि होते हैं। उनसे प्राणियों को पोषण होता है।

गणक ज्यौतिषं वेदानां सम्मानयन्ति ।

हिन्दी अनुवाद - ज्योतिष में वेदों का नेत्रों से वर्णन होता है। उसके विद्वान को ज्योतिषी कहा जाता है। वह ग्रह नक्षत्रों का अध्ययन करता है। वह ग्रहों के लोगों पर प्रभाव को भी विचार करता है। हिन्दू लोगों के प्रत्येक नामकरण आदि संस्कार करने के लिए तथा नए कार्य का प्रारम्भ करने के लिए वह शुभ-अशुभ मुहूर्त बताता है। अतः वह नम्रता व्यक्त करने वाले वेश से युक्त, सत्य बोलने वाला और पवित्र देशकाल का ज्ञाता होता है। इस प्रकार के बहुत ज्ञानी, देवज्ञानी को लोग सम्मान करते हैं।

चिकित्सक ऋग्वेदादयः उपयोगिता अस्ति ।
