(ख) जो पर्यावरण हमें प्रकृति खुद देती है, उसे प्राकृतिक पर्यावरण कहते हैं। जैसे हवा, पानी, मिट्टी, पेड़-पौधे, जानवर, सूरज, नदियाँ और पहाड़। ये सब प्राकृतिक हैं क्योंकि हम इन्हें खुद नहीं बना सकते। जो पर्यावरण इंसान अपने समाज के लिए बनाता है, उसे सामाजिक पर्यावरण कहते हैं। जैसे घर, सड़क, बाजार, गाँव, शहर, ट्रेन, मोटर और हवाई जहाज। सामाजिक पर्यावरण बनाने में प्राकृतिक पर्यावरण की मदद ली जाती है।
